AWARD OF BID
Hillendale Drive, South of Janesville Road Water Project
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for the Hillendale Drive 1400 to 3500 Feet South of
Janesville Road water project and the following bids were received:

WHEREAS, the Public Utilities Committee and City Engineers reviewed the bids and
recommended that the alternate bid submitted by M.J. Construction in the amount of $121,856.50
be accepted for the Hillendale Drive 1400 to 3500 Feet South of Janesville Road water project.
WHEREAS, the City will not accept any bid unless agreements satisfactory to the City will be
entered with Muskego Site Ground Water Remediation Group and others for payment
to the City of certain amounts. including but not limited, to construction costs,
and that an escrow account, satisfactory to the City, is opened to secure said payments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of the Public Utilities Committee, does hereby authorize the Mayor to
accept the alternate bid of M. J. Construction in the amount of $121,856.50 for the Hillendale
Drive 1400 to 3500 Feet South of Janesville Road water project contingent upon agreements
being entered into and the escrow account being opened as referred to above to the satisfaction of
the Mayor on behalf of the City
BE IT FmTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized to
sign the necessary documents in the name of the City, and are further authorized to sign any
change orders at their discretion upon recommendation of the City Engineers if said bid is
accepted by the City as stated above.
