CCR1999124AMENDED COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEG0 RESOLUTION #124-99 APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO, PERSONNEL CODE FOR MANAGEMENT AND OTHER NONREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF MUSKEG0 WHEREAS, The Mayor has recommended approval of an Amendment to the Personnel Code for Management and Other Nonrepresented Employees of the City of Muskego. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, does hereby adopt the attached Amendment to the Personnel Code for Management and Other Nonrepresented Employees of the City of Muskego, as amended. ARTICLE IV - Retirement Program 4.01 "with exception. " phrase should fall before "See also ..." Also amend last sentence for exceptions to include Captain. ARTICLE V - Wages & Benefits 5.01 Wages to be increase by 3.5% for 1999. Additional percentage for 1999 as Performance will not begin until year 2000. ARTICLE W - SICK LEAVE 15.01 Replace "one and one quarter (l-1/4) days per month" with 10 hours. 15.08A. Add "to immediate supervisor or their designee." 0 D. ARTICLE XVI -VACATION 16.01 Change vacation to allow for accrual of vacation on the hiring date. All full time City employees shall accrue vacation as follows: Requesting (1) weeks vacation for all Department Heads in first year of employment, 2 weeks in second year Additional vacatiodoff time may be granted as condition of employment. 16.03 Delete existing language and change to read: "The Finance Department will provide Department Heads with copies of their employees available vacation time each month" ARTICLE Wll - INSURANCE 17.4 Delete :Long term disability insurance will be made available at the 17.5 individual employee's expense. LONGEVITY - Amend to add "Captain" where reference is made to Police Chief and Lieutenants. Amend second paragraph to indicate a $200.00 yearly clothing allowance in lieu of increasing cost of shoes, rubbers and winter boots. Also to be used to replace Carhart coveralls.
