AWARD OF BID
FOR SEWER HOOK-UP (Jones)
WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for the forced sewer hook-up of the Verne Jones
property located at W140 S9221 Boxhorn Drive and the following base bid was received:
Advanced Sewer and Water $16,931 .OO
WHEREAS, The Public Utilities Committee has recommended acceptance of the bid from
Advanced Sewer and Water
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of the Public Utilities Committee, does hereby accept the base bid
from Advanced Sewer and Water in the amount of $16,931 for the forced sewer hook-up of the
Verne Jones property located at W140 S9221 Boxhorn Drive.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the above bid does not include the $500 connection fee
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the $500 connection fee and the actual forced hook-up
costs of $15,516.71 (plus $900 for additional items if necessary) for the area outside of Boxhorn
right-of-way shall be billed to the property owner in accordance with Chapter 21.05(2)(c)l of
the Municipal Code. If requested by the property owner, the Clerk-Treasurer may place the
amount due for the forced hook-up on the property owner's tax bill as a special charge pursuant
to State Statute 66.60 (16) and Chapter 21.05(2)(c)l of the City of Muskego Municipal Code in
Boxhorn right-of-way shall be the responsibility of the sewer utilitity.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized to
sign any necessary legal documents in the name of the City.
