RESOLUTION #98-99
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RENAMING OF
LEISURE PARK TO
VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK
WHEREAS, The Muskego Festival Committee and Muskego VFW have requested the
renaming of Leisure Park to honor the veterans of our community who have served
their country; and
WHEREAS, The Parks and Recreation Board has recommended renaming Leisure
Park to Veteran's Memorial Park to honor these veterans.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Board, does hereby
authorize the renaming of Leisure Park to VETERAN'S MEMORIAL PARK in
accordance with Chapter 26 of the Municipal Code of the City of Muskego.
