RESOLUTION #97-99
DENIAL OF PETITION TO AMEND PARK AND OPEN SPACE PLAN
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Muskego adopted a Park and Open
Space Plan in December of 1991 and amended said plan in April of 1993 through
Resolution #loo-93 approving Addendum #I, and
WHEREAS, A petition was received from the developer of Rosewood Estates to amend
the Park and Open Space Plan to remove a proposed park site from the Plan (identified
as Park Site B on page 35); and
WHEREAS, The Parks and Recreation Board and Plan Commission have determined
that the Park and Open Space Plan should not be amended and that the City should
enter into negotiations to obtain the parcel from the developer to use as a future
passive park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Plan Commission and Parks and
Recreation Board, does hereby deny the petition to amend the Park and Open Space
Plan to remove a proposed park site from the Plan and has determined that the City
should enter into negotiations to obtain the parcel from the developer to use as a future
passive park.
