RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE SELECTION OF
DIRECTOR OF PLANNING
FOR THE CITY OF MUSKEG0
WHEREAS, Brian Turk has been selected to fill the position of Director of Planning by the
Committee members appointed by the Mayor for this purpose effective June 1, 1999; and
WHEREAS. The Common Council is required to approve such appointment; and
WHEREAS, The 1999 biweekly starting salary and benetits of the position as established are
attached herewith.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of Mayor David L. De Angelis and successful completion of a
background check, does hereby confirm the selection of Brian Turk to fill the position ofDirector
of Planning effective June I, 1999.

This letter is to confirm our conversation of Friday, May 14, 1999, regarding your
future employment with the City of Muskego as Planning Director/Zoning
Administrator
As was discussed, your base starting salary for 1999 will be 549,500 ($1,903.85
bi-weekly) with a $2,500 increase upon successful completion of your AlCP
certification, and one additional week of vacation in your first year
The above offer is contingent upon confirmation by the Common Council which
would like to meet you at a special meeting they have scheduled for Thursday,
May 20, 1999, at 6:30 PM. If convenient, I will meet you in my office around 6:15
PM and we can proceed to the meeting room. There is also a background check
being conducted by our police department.
Your starting date is scheduled for Tuesday, June 1, 1999, and all other benefits
will be as outlined in the City of Muskego's Nonrepresented Personnel Code.
