AWARD OF BID
MUSKEG0 POLICE DEPARTMENT LANDSCAPING
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for landscaping at the Muskego Police Department and
the following bids were received:
J & 0 Trucking $12,409.91
Heins Grading $20,243.00
Terra Firma Landscaping $18,139.75
F & W Landscape Specialists $1 1,600.00
WHEREAS, Chief John Johnson has reviewed the bids and recommends that the low bid
submitted by F & W Landscape Specialists be rejected due to deficiencies contained in the
bidding documents submitted by said bidder especially as to identifying individual cost
breakdown for nursery stock making comparison of nursery items impossible and prohibiting
decisions to be made to control costs: and
WHEREAS, Chief Johnson has recommended that the bid submitted by J & 0 Trucking in the
amount of $12,409.91 be accepted; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed the bids and Chief Johnson’s recommendation
and recommends acceptance of the bid submitted by J & 0 Trucking in the amount of
$12,409.91 for landscaping at the Muskego Police Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby accept the bid of J & 0
Trucking in the amount of $12,409.91 for landscaping at the Muskego Police Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Chief Johnson are hereby authorized to sign
the necessary documents in the name of the City
