AWARD OF BID
1999 ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for the 1999 Road Improvement Program and the
following bids were received:
Base Bid Alternate
Payne & Dolan $354,714.00 $24,000
Paving Mix & Construction. Co. $366,649.50 $26,000
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has reviewed the bids, in consultation with the City
Engineers, and recommends acceptance of the low bid of Payne & Dolan in the amount of
$354,714 plus alternate for excavator with operator in the amount of $24,000 for a total of
$378,714.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of the Public Works Committee, does hereby accept the bid of Payne
& Dolan in the amount of $378,714.00 for the 1999 Road Improvement Program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized to sign
the necessary documents in the name of the City, and are further authorized to sign any change
orders at their discretion upon recommendation of the City Engineers.
