RESOLUTION #49-99
RESOLUTION TO RETAIN SPECIAL COUNSEL
WHEREAS, In July of 1998, the Common Council of the City of Muskego amended and
adopted Resolution #139-98 which authorized the Mayor to hire Attorney Michael J.
Morse of von Briesen, Purtell & Roper, S.C. for issues regarding Carity Land
Development and the Town of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, Attorney Morse is no longer with von Briesen, Purtell & Roper, S.C. and it
is necessary for the City to obtain special counsel representation for the above-
referred-to legal issues; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has recommended that the City hire Attorney
Steven Hayes and Attorney Tim Feeley of von Briesen, Purtell & Roper, S.C. .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby
authorize the Mayor to hire Attorney Steven Hayes and Attorney Tim Feeley to
represent the City regarding Carity Land Development and the Town of Vernon.
