CCR1999048AMENDED COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEG0 RESOLUTION #48-99 RESOLUTION TO CREATE POSITION OF DEPUTY BUILDING DIRECTOR WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the structure of the City EngineerlBuilding Inspection Department in light of the vacancy of the department director; and WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has recommended that a Deputy Building Director position be created and filled in the interim until such time as a final determination is made as to the structure of the department; and WHEREAS, The position has been reviewed by consultant Bart Gethmann, and WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has recommended approval of a M3 pay range with points of 475 for this non-exempt position, with an hourly pay range of $15.90 minimum, $19.88 mid-point and $23.85 maximum, and WHEREAS, The Finance Committee further recommended that the Interim Deputy Building Director be non-exempt and receive $22.26 per hour until a new City Engineer/Building Director is in the position at which time the hourly salary will be $21.63. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve the creation of a non-exempt Deputy Building Director position with the assigned points of 475 and a pay range of M3, with an hourly pay range of $15.90 minimum, $19.88 mid-point and $23.85 maximum. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the current Plumbing Inspector AI Biwer will fill this position on an interim basis at an hourly rate of $22.26 effective March 24, 1999 until a new City EngineedBuilding Director is in the position at which time the hourly salary will be $21.63.
