AWARD OF BID
Loomis RoadlState Hwy. 45 Sewer Project
WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for the Loomis RoadlHwy. 45 Sewer Project, and the
following base bids with Alternate MA 1 a were received:
Earl A. Eichline Enterprises $305,409.00
Rawson Contractors, Inc. $312,109.00
Globe Contractors, Inc. $318,388.00
Mainline Sewer & Water, Inc. $388,395.00
Underground Pipeline, Inc. $412,590.30
Super Excavators, Inc. $421,997.00
United Sewer & Water, Inc. $431,512.00
WHEREAS, The City engineers and the Public Utilities Committee have recommended
approval of the low base bid with Alternate MA la from Earl A. Eichline Enterprises in the
amount of $305,409.00 for the Loomis Road/Hwy. 45 Sewer Project; and
WHEREAS, The City engineers and the Public Utilities Committee have recommended the
execution of a change order because the route of the project has changed slightly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of the City engineers and the Public Utilities Committee, does hereby
accept the low base bid with Alternate MA la from Earl A. Eichline Enterprises in the amount of
$305,409.00 for the Loomis Road/Hwy. 45 Sewer Project contingent upon the execution of a
change order, referred to above, reviewed and approved by the Mayor in consultation with the
City’s attorney and engineers and contingent upon the Mayor’s approval of the final contract
documents.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized to
sign the necessary documents in the name of the City, and are further authorized to sign any
additional change orders at their discretion upon recommendation of the City engineers.
