APPROVAL OF REVISED JOB DESCRIPTION, PAY GRADE AND SALARY RANGE
(Civil TechnicianlBuilding Inspector)
WHEREAS, The City Engineer has requested that an existing Building Inspector
position be revised to include engineering tasks; and
WHEREAS, The City Engineer has revised the position description which will be
reviewed by consultant Bart Gethmann to include a recommendation as to the points
and pay range for the position; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the proposed job description and
has recommended approval of the revision subject to review by Mr Gethmann.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the revised job description for a Civil TechniciadBuilding Inspector
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Common Council approves the points assigned
to the revised position of 396 and a pay range of M1 with the current hourly salary
being a minimum of $- to a maximum of $- with a midpoint of $18.03.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the creation of this position eliminates the vacant
Building Inspector position.
