Storage Salt Shed
WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for a storage salt shed and the following bid
was submitted by West Bend/American Building Systems:
Gabrel Truss Salt Shed $.rs3,aoo
Building Size 50’ wide by 72’ long
Standard Truss Salt Shed $133,012
Building Size 48’ wide by 80’ long
Alternate #l - Add $18,200
WHEREAS, The City engineer and the Public Works Committee have recommended
approval of the bid submitted by West Bend/American Building Systems in the amount
of $163,800 for a gabrel truss storage salt shed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the City engineer and the Public Works
Committee, does hereby accept the bid of West Bend/American Building in the amount
of $163,800 for a gabrel truss storage salt shed contingent upon the 1999 budget
being amended to fund the same.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby
authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name of the City, after amendment
to the 1999 budget referred to above, and are further authorized to sign any change
orders at their discretion upon recommendation of the City engineer
