RESOLUTION #12-99
AWARD OF BID
Muskego Public Library
WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for construction of a public library and the
attached Bid Tabulation details the submitted bids; and
WHEREAS, The project architect and the Finance Committee have recommended
approval of the bid submitted by Guenther-Wagner-Johnson, the lowest responsible
bidder, with a base bid of $3,044,502 plus the following Alternates 1 through 8, 10, 12,
and 13, for a total of $3,142,237
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the project architect and the Finance
Committee, does hereby accept the bid submitted by Guenther-Wagner-Johnson, the
lowest responsible bidder, with a base bid of $3,044,502 plus the following Alternates 1
through 8, 10, 12, and 13, for a total of $3,142,237, contingent upon the Mayor
approving final contract documents.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby
authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name of the City, if approved by the
recommendation of the project architect.
