AUTHORIZE EXPENDITURE OF PARK DEDICATION FUNDS
(Idle Isle Dredging Project)
WHEREAS, the Little Muskego Lake Association has initiated an
Erosion Control and Dredging Project at Idle Isle; and
WHEREAS, the Association has requested City participation
project, with the other property owners also contributing to the
inasmuch as the City is one of the landowners affected by the
project; and
WHEREAS, in 1993 the City budgeted $22,000 in the Park Dedication
Fund for the project to be broken down as follows: $15,000 for
erosion control and $7,000 for dredging; and
WHEREAS, since the project was initially budgeted for, the amount
needed to complete the project has increased; and
WHEREAS, the Little Muskego Lake Association is requesting an
additional $8,000 to complete the project; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Board and Finance Committee
have recommended approval of the additional $8,000 from the
City's Park Dedication Fund for total City participation in the
amount of $30,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby authorize participation in funding a
portion of the Idle Isle Erosion Control and Dredging Project in
the amount of $22,000 previously budgeted for and an additional
$8,000 for a total of $30,000 to be taken from Park Dedication
Funds.
