CCR1994241COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEG0 RESOLUTION #241-94 RENEWAL OF PROPERTY TAX ASSESSMENT AND BILLING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH WAUKESHA COUNTY WHEREAS, the City of Muskego currently has an agreement with Waukesha County to provide Property Tax Assessment and Billing Services; and WHEREAS, that Agreement is to expire as of December 31, 1994. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the attached Agreement with Waukesha County to provide Property Tax Assessment and Billing Service. Sanders This is to certify that this is a true and accurate copy of Resolution #241-94 which was adopted by the Common Council of the City of Muskego. 11/94 jmb DATA PROCESSING SERVICES WAUKESHA COUNTY PROPERTY TAX ASSESSMENT AND BILLING This Agreement is entered into this - day of , 1994. by and between Waukesha County, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the County, located at 515 W Moreland Blvd,, Waukesha, Wi 53188, and the City of Muskego, hereinafter referred to as the Municipality, located at P 0 Box 903, Muskego, WI 53150 Statutes Section 66 30, which permits intergovernmental cooperation for public purposes The authority for this agreement is that contained in the Wisconsin services to assist the local Municipality in the preparation of assessment By this agreement, the County proposes to provide data processing rolls and tax bills 1 The County proposes to provide the following services to the Municipality A. The Department of Information Systems will provide programs and computer time to enable the Municipality to Maintain the Assessment Database on-line for a) name and address, mortgage holder codes and personal b) parcel values, change notice codes and special Maintain the following tables on-line c) legal descriptions of parcels a) districts codes (sewer, water, school, TIF, etc ) b) mortgage holders c) personal property by business types Search the file by owner’s name, property address, or Inquire & list on-line changes to the Assessment file View current year tax bills and receipts alternate key View current values Assessment Roll cross reference lists by name or address Street Index Listing Plain paper work rolls for b) special districts (school, TIF, sewer, fire, etc ) a) specific property types (manu , cornm,, etc ) d) partially assessed properties, c) vacant or improved properties, e) personal property by business types, f) specific keys and/or key ranges g) work rolls can be sorted by key, name, or property h) values and legal description may be omitted. property business codes district codes address 10) Labels, 1-up, 1 1/2 inch, for: a) specific property types (manu , cornrner , etc ) b) special districts (school.
