Curb and Gutter Repair (Meadow Green West)
Acceptance of Quote
WHEREAS, curb and gutter work completed by the developer in
Meadow Green West, Meadow Green West Addn. No. 1 and Meadow Green
West Addn. No. 2 has been found to be defective and has not been
approved by the City Engineers or Public Works Superintendent
John Loughney and not complete as required by the appropriate
Subdividers' Agreements; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has directed John Loughney to
obtain quotes for curb and gutter repair work; and
WHEREAS, the following quotes were obtained:
Payne & Dolan
Wm. Beaudoin ti Sons, Inc.
D. C. Burbach, Inc.
$33.00 per foot
$42.40 per foot
$21.50 per foot
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has recommended that the
quote from D. C. Burbach, Inc. be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Works
Committee, does hereby accept the quote from D.C. Burbach, Inc.
for curb and gutter repair work to be completed in the Meadow
Green West Subdivision at $21.50 per foot.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the developer, Mr. Gregory Boehm, is
responsible for all costs associated with repair work, .including
inspection following completion by the City Engineers, with
monies to be taken from the Letters of Credit for each of the
affected phases to the extent possible of the Meadow Green West
Subdivision with the exact amount for each phase to be determined
by Public Works Superintendent John Loughney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to
sign the necessary documents in the name of the City.
