AWARD OF BID
Little Muskego Lake Dam
and Spillway Improvements
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for the Little Muskego Lake Dam and
Spillway Improvements, and the following bids were received:
Zaretzke Marine $251,430
Terra Eng. & Construction 296,020
Zenith Tech, Inc. 246,565
WHEREAS, the City engineers and the Public Works Committee have
recommended approval of the low bid from Zenith Tech, Inc. for the
Little Muskego Lake Dam and Spillway Improvements in the amount of
$246,565 with the City reserving the right to accept alternative railing
and sheeting for deducts of $1,500 and $4,500, respectively, contingent
upon the City receiving easements from the property owners for
construction purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the City Engineers and the Public
Works Committee, does hereby accept the low bid from Zenith Tech for the
Little Muskego Lake Dam and Spillway Improvements in the amount of
$246,565 with the City reserving the right to accept alternative railing
and sheeting for deducts of $1,500 and $4,500, respectively, contingent a pon the City receiving easements from the property owners for
onstructions purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized
to sign the necessary documents in the name of the City, and are
further authorized to sign any change orders at their discretion upon
recommendation of the City Engineers.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds for this project are to be obtained
from the borrowed money account.
