CCR1994168COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEG0 RESOLUTION #168-94 APPROVAL OF LEAVE OF ABSENCE Thomas Schilling WHEREAS, Detective Thomas Schilling has requested a Leave of Absence from his position with the Muskego Police Department to allow him to serve in an elective position for the 1995-1996 term, if elected; and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended approval of a conditions: leave of absence for Detective Schilling with the following .... Leave of Absence would be for a two-year period. .... Re-employment would be to the first available .... No benefits (sick days, vacation, etc.) shall position. accrue as of the first day of the month if leave commences on or before the 15th day of the month, or as of the last day of the month if leave commences on the 16th day of the month or after. Health and Life Insurance will terminate at the end of the month of commencement of leave. Health Insurance coverage will not be offered to the employee. WHEREAS, the Finance Committee's recommendation is for this particular case with any similar requests made in the future to ~ - be reviewed separately. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council Of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve a two-year leave of absence for Detective Thomas Schilling to allow him to serve in an elective position for the 1995-1996 term, if elected, subject to the above conditions. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Chief Johnson is authorized to hire a replacement officer and to create a temporary detective position. DATED THIS 9TH DAY OF AUGUST , 1994.
