AMENDMENT TO POLICY RELATING TO
THE HIRING OF RELATIVES
WHEREAS, the Common Council adopted Resolution #194-84, as
amended, to Establish a Policy Regarding Hiring of Relatives; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council amended said Policy by adopting
Resolutions #125-86 and #3-91; and

City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby amend the attached Policy Relating to the
Hiring of Relatives to add the following to Paragraph One of Page
Two: Exception: This section does not apply to an employee who
marries another employee.

POLICY REGARDING HIRING OF RELATIVES
The City of :lus;C?go, as a natter of policy, shall not employ two
or more persons of rhe sane family in any one City Department.
Definitions
"Departments". The Departments of the City of Muskego are as
follows:
LEGISLATIVE - >!ayor and Aldernen (Encompasses Every
Deparrment)
ADMINISTV-TIVE - ?layor, Clerk, Treasurer, Assessor, auilding
Inspection, Yaintenance, etc.

'L.. e they shall, as of the date of the establishment of the family
of the same family, but later become members o€ the same family,
relationship, have thirty (30) days in which to decide €or
order that the policy may be complied with. In the event of the
