RESOLUTION #81-94
RESOLUTION TO RETAIN SPECIAL COUNSEL FOR REPRESENTATION
AT LIQUOR LICENSE SUSPENSION AND/OR REVOCATION HEARING
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended a liquor license
Council as to Jeffrey Bosanac d/b/a Jeff's Black Duck following
suspension and/or revocation hearing be held before the Common
recent violations at the establishment; and
information submitted to them from the Police Chief regarding
WHEREAS, as the Complainant, the Police Chief cannot be
represented by the City Attorney as said attorney will be
present to serve as representation for the Common Council; and
WHEREAS, since the Police Chief would be acting within the scope
Committee has recommended retaining Attorney Tim Garrity to
of his employment in testifying at the hearing, the Finance
represent the Police Chief in this matter at the present rate of
$110 an hour.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby authorize retaining Attorney Tim Garrity
at the rate of $110 an hour as special counsel to represent the
Police Chief in regards to the proposed suspension and/or
revocation hearing to be held regarding Jeffrey Bosanac d/b/a
Jeff's Black Duck "Class B" Fermented Malt Beverage and
Intoxicating Liquor License.
