SUPPORT OF APPLICATION FILED FOR BLUE CHIP GRANT
WHEREAS, The Waukesha County Economic Development Corporation
development planning efforts within local communities; and
has available Blue Chip Incentive Grants to enhance economic
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego has been a participant in this Blue
Chip Grant Program in the past; and
WHEREAS, On February 2, 1994 the Finance Committee recommended
approval of a grant application for up to $5,000 for the hiring
of a intern to prepare a data base for commercial and industrial
land use in the City, and
WHEREAS, Added duties of the intern would be to develop an
evaluation process to monitor economic development efforts,
produce an ongoing call program, and begin the collection of
data for a producer/supplier inventory of Muskego business and
industry.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby support the application filed with the
Waukesha County Economic Development Corporation for a Blue Chip
Incentive Grant in the amount of $5,000 to hire an intern to
prepare a data base of commercial and industrial land use in the
City, develop an evaluation process to monitor economic
development efforts, produce an ongoing call program, and begin
the collection of data for a producer/supplier inventory of
Muskego business and industry.
