CCR1994064COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO RESOLUTION #64-94 DENIAL OF GRIEVANCE (Telecommunicators Becker and Psket) WHEREAS, the Chief of Police received a grievance from Telecommunicators Becker and Psket regarding denial of holiday pay, and denied the grievance in his letter to AFSCME Local 2414 on January 6, 1994; and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended denial of the grievance because in order to receive holiday pay in addition to Agreement Between the City of Muskego and the Police regular time, time must be "worked" per Section 9.02 of the Telecommunicator Unit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby deny the grievance filed by Telecommunicators Becker and Psket based on Section 9.02 of the Agreement Between the City of Muskego and the Police works a full shift on a holiday which falls on one of his/her Telecommunicator Unit which states in part: "If any employee scheduled workdays, he/she shall receive eight (8) hours of pay in addition to his/her regular monthly salary.''
