0 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO THE
WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENT ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY OF MUSKEGO'S PARTICIPATION IN THE SMALL CITIES
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, federal monies are available under the Small Cities
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, administered by
the Wisconsin Department of Development (DOD), for the purposes
of economic development; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed and sent to Council
without a recommendation; and
b WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Common Council to approve the
preparation and filing of an application for the City to receive
funds from this program; and
b WHEREAS, the Common Council has reviewed the need for the

proposed project and the benefits to be gained therefrom.
City of Muskego does hereby approve and authorize the preparation
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the

$750,000 to Cowtown, Inc., to assist in the sfart-up of the
business in the City of Muskego, with the firm expending an equal

amount of private funds to match the CDBG loan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to sign all necessary documents on behalf of the City. b
