CCR19940460 COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO RESOLUTION #46-94 TANK REMOVAL - PARKS HEADQUARTERS SITE ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTES WHEREAS, quotes have been obtained as follows for removal of the storage fuel tanks project at the Parks Headquarters Building: Part #1 - Fixed costs for removal of tanks and pumps and a tank closure site assessment plan to comply with State of Wisconsin law. Mankoff, Inc. Progressive Environmental Industries (P.E.I.) Northern Environmental b $6,219 $6,419 $5,750 Part #2 - Costs that will be required for the disposal of sludge and/or product remaining in tanks after pump out. (A minimum of three drums is being projected.) Mankoff, Inc. $465/drum (55 gal.) Northern Environmental (work to P.E.I. $425/drum (55 gal.) be subcontracted to Petroleum Equipment) $412.08/drum (55 gal.) WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the quote submitted by Northern Environmental for Part #1 at a cost of submitted by Northern Environmental for Part #2 at a cost of $5,750 for the removal of storage fuel tanks and the quote $412.08/drum for the disposal of sludge (work to be performed by Petroleum Equipment) be accepted. WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has determined that this project would be funded with existing borrowed funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby accept the quotes of Northern Environmental for Part #1 at a cost of $5,750 and Part #2 at a project at the Parks Headquarters Building. cost of $412.08/drum for removal of the storage fuel tanks a Resolution #46-94 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute the necessary legal documents in the name of the City, upon approval of the City Attorney.
