RESOLUTION #286-93 0 ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTE FOR NEW SQUAD CARS
WHEREAS, quotes have been obtained as follows for two new 1994
squad cars:
Holz Motors
Ewald Chevrolet
$13,690.60 per unit less trade-ins
Kayser Ford
13,712.00 per unit less trade-ins
14,163.00 per unit less trade-ins
WHEREAS, V.A.L.U.E. in Local Government, a cooperative
purchasing program of Southeastern Wisconsin has awarded the
quote to Holz Motors in Hales Corners based on the low quote; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the quote
submitted by Holz Motors for a net cost of $15,981.20 (gross cost
of $27,381.20 less trade-ins of two vehicles of $11,400) for the
purchase of two squad cars be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby accept the quote of Holz Motors for two
1994 squad cars at a net price of $15,981.20.
- BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police is hereby
authorized to execute the necessary legal documents in the name
of the City.
