RESOLUTION #284-93
RESOLUTION AS TO ACCEPTANCE OF LAND FOR BML ACCESS
(Bass Bay Sportsmen's Club)
WHEREAS, a parcel of land, identified as Tax Key Number 2210.996,
has been offered for donation to the City by Bass Bay Sportsmen's
Club for the purpose of creating a public access to Big Muskego
Lake as shown on the attached; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the Big Muskego Lake/Bass
Bay Protection and Rehabilitation District and Parks & Recreation
Board have recommended acceptance of the property; the Finance
Committee has also recommended acceptance and has agreed to
pay the costs involved with the transfer and any taxes incurred
after January 1, 1994.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby express its intent to accept the
property, Tax Key Number 2210.996, offered to the City by Bass
Bay Sportsmen's Club for the purpose of creating a public access
to Big Muskego Lake subject to the title search being done to
verify ownership of this land by Bass Bay Sportsmen's Club.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney and City Engineers
are hereby directed to prepare the necessary documents to
finalize the transfer of ownership of the property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby
authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name of the
City.
