AUTHORIZATION TO APPLY FOR LITTLE/BIG MUSKEGO-WIND LAKES
PRIORITY WATERSHED PROJECT GRANT FOR 1994
WHEREAS, The Department of Natural Resources has grant funds
available from the Wisconsin Nonpoint Pollution Abatement
Watershed Project; and
Program (NPS) under the Little/Big Muskego-Wind Lakes Priority
WHEREAS, the City has developed a grant proposal to request
funds for several projects including:
1. Implementation of stormwater detention pond retro-fit for
2. Staff training and education.

3. Erosion Control Ordinance revisions and adoption.
4. Stormwater Management Ordinance development and adoption.
5. Stormwater Management Planning for the Little/Big Muskego
6. Conducting Information and Education programs for
Lakes Watershed.

I. Purchase of street sweeper to control street sediment
runoff.
0 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby authorize the City to apply for grant funds from the
Wisconsin Nonpoint Pollution Abatement Program (NPS) under
Little/Big Muskego-Wind Lakes Priority Watershed Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk and Mayor are hereby
authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name of the
City.
