AUTHORIZATION TO WRITE-OFF CERTAIN
CONTROLLED ACCESS ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, Resolution #176-86, Final Resolution Authorizing
Installation of Water Improvements and Levying Special
Assessments Against Benefited Property created a Controlled
Access status for 1925.40 lin. ft. of Tax Key No. 2225.999, and
WHEREAS, 395.90 ft. was sold to Waukesha County, rezoned to OIP
and paid in 1988, and
WHEREAS, 325.68 ft. was sold to Terra Development and developed
as residential parcels with no direct access to the water main,
and
WHEREAS, 1203.82 ft. remains of the original parcel which has
been developed as residential parcels with no direct access to
the water main, and
WHEREAS, the Public Utilities Committee has recommended that the
Controlied Access status of the 325.68 ft. and the 1203.82 ft.
for a total of 1529.5 ft. be written off.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Utilities
write off the 1529.5 ft. of the Controlled Access status
Committee, does hereby direct the City Clerk/Comptroller to
being carried on the books at the original $14.00 front foot
originally placed on Tax Key No. 2225.999 in 1986, which is
rate for a total of $21,413.
