AUTHORIZATION TO APPLY FOR BLUE CHIP GRANT
WHEREAS, the Waukesha County Economic Development Corporation
development planning efforts within local communities; and
has available Blue Chip Incentive Grants to enhance economic
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has been a participant in this Blue
Chip Grant Program in the past; and
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego wishes to continue the Blue Chip
Community Preparedness process by applying for a grant in the
amount of $4,500.00 to hire an intern to prepare a Community
Fact Book and to assist the Muskego Chamber of Commerce in the
update of The Wisconsin Bell Business Retention Survey.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby authorize the City to apply for a Blue
Chip Incentive Grant in the amount of $4,500.00 to hire an
intern to prepare a Community Fact Book and to assist the Muskgo
Chamber of Commerce in the update of The Wisconsin Bell Business
Retention Survey.
