APPROVAL OF DESIGN ENGINEERING FIRM
Interior Restoration of Parks Headquarters Building
WHEREAS, the Parks Director has requested that interior
restoration be made to the Parks Headquarters Building; and
WHEREAS, the firm of PSI Design, Inc. of Big Bend has been
selected to provide architectural and engineering services for
the restoration project for a fee of $8,100; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby approve the selection of PSI Design, Inc. to
provide architectural and engineering services for interior
restoration of the Parks Headquarters Building for a fee of
$8,100 contingent upon approval of the Finance Committee.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that additional time beyond contract to
be paid per Article 12.2 and/or Exhibit A as attached not to
exceed $1,000 which will be approved by the Parks Director in
consultation with the Mayor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized
to execute the attached Agreement in the name of the City,
subject to review by the City Attorney, and upon approval of
the Finance Committee.

12.1 Basic Services includes preliminary review with State of Wisconsin
Code Officials prior to issue of bid documents. It is anticipated
weeks during the construction documents phase.

12.2.1 Consultants billable rates schedule is attached as Exhibit A.
12.3 Engineering final inspections are additional services; each
engineering final inspection, if requested by Owner, will be
charged at $200.00 per system (i.e. electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
12.4 Site visits by PSI Design are limited to a maximum of two (2)
plus one (1) final inspection with punchlist.
0 12.5 "The architect acknowledges that the owner is a municipal
Corporation and, therefore, is subject to statutory requirements
regarding the awarding of bids for public projects. The architect
shall be responsible for preparing all bidding documents, contract
documents and related documents in conformity with Wisconsin
bidding laws."
12.6 Add the following to Paragraph 11.3.3.: Additional services to
be rendered upon approval by the Parks Director in consultation
with the Mayor.
