AWARDING OF BIDS
RECYCLING CENTER FENCING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for the Recycling Center Fencing
Project and the following bids were received:

Badger Fencing
Gravel
Johnson Sand & Gravel, Inc.
Payne & Dolan

$10,800
$2.OO/Ton (3/4" Gravel)
$3.00/Ton (3/4" Gravel)
$4.15/Ton (1 1/2" TB)
WHEREAS, the Public Works Superintendent and the Public Welfare
Committee have recommended approval of the low bid from Badger Fencing
for the fencing portion of the Project in the amount of $10,800, the bid
the bid from Johnson Sand & Gravel, Inc. being rejected because it did
from Payne & Dolan for the 3/4" gravel in the amount of $3.00/Ton due to
not comply with the bid specifications requiring a security bid bond,
and the bid from Payne & Dolan for the 1 1/2" T.B. in the amount of
$4.15/Ton.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Welfare Committee, does
hereby accept the low bid from Badger Fencing in the amount of $10,800
and the bids from Payne & Dolan for the 3/4" gravel in the amount of
$3.00/Ton and for the 1 1/2" T.B. in the amount of $4.15/Ton.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Awarding of Bids is subject to DNR Site
Review Approval and subject to approval of the fence height from the
adjoining property owners and the Plan Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to
