RESOLUTION #319-92
Deferring Payment of Special Assessment (Bartz)
a WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Muskego previously
adopted Resolution #285-86 deferring payment of the Special
Assessment of the Michael and Gloria Bartz Property, Tax Key No.
2201.988; and
WHEREAS, the deferral period for said assessment expired on
January 12, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the Public Utilities Committee has recommended allowing
a partial payment of a minimum of $5,000 to be paid on this
assessment, deferring the balance due for an additional five
years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, at the request of the owners of the Michael and
Gloria Bartz property, Tax Key No. 2201.988 and upon the
recommendation of the Public Utilities Committee as follows:
1. That the assessment deferred by Resolution #285-86 and
interest due or to become due thereon is deferred for five
years from the date of this Resolution, but only pursuant
to the terms and conditions of Resolution #28-85, as
amended; Resolution #112-86; and Resolution #25-89, unless
specifically amended by this Resolution.
0 2. That interest shall be charged at the rate of 9.0% per
accrued interest of $7,620.91 through December 22, 1992
annum on the unpaid balance of $21,876.91 which includes
until the entire assessment is paid in full.
3. That partial payments of a minimum of $5,000 may be made
on this assessment at any time.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution is subject to the
approval of the City Attorney.
