CCR1992309COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEG0 RESOLUTION #309-92 NOT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CITY'S HEALTH INSURANCE PROGRAM AUTHORIZATION TO REIMBURSE CERTAIN EMPLOYEES WHO ELECT WHEREAS, certain employees are covered by health insurance benefits in addition to those offerred by the City; and WHEREAS, as an incentive to those employees to elect not to participate in the City's Health Insurance program, a reimbursement program has been recommended by the Negotiating Committee as follows: Employees Eligible for Family Plan Coverage and Elect Payment in Lieu of Coverage $150/Month * Employees Eligible for Family Plan Coverage and Elect Single Coverage $100/Month * Employees Eligible for Single Plan Coverage and Elect Payment in Lieu of Coverage $ 50/Month * Eligible Part-Time Employees May Obtain Reimbursement on a Pro-Rata Basis NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon recommendation of the Negotiating Committee, does hereby authorize the City Clerk to make payments in lieu of health insurance coverage to those employees who qualify and elect such payment in the amounts listed above, and are represented by the Muskego Police Association, Employees of the Public Works Department and Public Utility Department, or Non-represented Employees. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City is providing like insurance benefits to the AFSCME unit and are abiding by the contract provisions for like insurance and, therefore, have not negotiated a change in health insurance provisions which makes that bargaining group eligible for reimbursement.
