AWARDING OF BID
VALLEY DRIVE/LIONS PARK WATER PROJECT
MW-15-92 ASSESSMENT DISTRICT "WN"
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for the Valley Drive/Lions
Park Water Project, and the following bids were received:

WHEREAS, the City engineers and the Public Utilities Committee have
recommended approval of the low bid from Rawson Contractors for Phase I
in the amount of $65,525, Phase I1 in the amount of $21,792, and Storm
Sewer Alternate Bid in the amount of $14,415 subject to the receipt of
the DNR approvals and permits for Phase 11; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended deletion of the Storm
Sewer Alternate Bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the City Engineers and the Public
Utilities Committee, does hereby accept the low bid from Rawson
Contractors for Phase I in the amount of $65,525 subject to the
condition that work in the canal area cannot be done without receipt of
the Chapter 30 permit from the DNR and Phase I1 in the amount of
$21,792, subject to the receipt of the DNR approvals and permits for
Phase I1 for the Valley Drive/Lions Park Water Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to
sign the necessary documents in the name of the City, and are further
authorized to sign any change orders at their discretion upon
recommendation of the City Engineers.
