AWARDING OF BID
PARKS HEADQUARTERS BUILDING
EXTERIOR RESTORATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for the Parks Headquarters
Building Exterior Restoration Project, and the following bids were
received:

WHEREAS, the Parks Board and the Finance Committee have recommended
approval of the bid from Burkel Corporation, Inc. for exterior
restoration of the parks headquarters building in the amount of
$44,850 with Alternative #2; and
WHEREAS, the bid from Roman Electric was not considered due to it being
a partial bid only.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Parks Board and the Finance
Committee, does hereby accept the bid from Burkel Corporation, Inc. for
exterior restoration of the parks headquarters building in the amount of
$44,850 with Alternative #2.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to
sign the necessary documents in the name of the City, and are further
authorized to sign any change orders at their discretion upon
recommendation of the Parks Director in an amount not to exceed 10% of
of the bid price.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Parks Director are hereby
warranty and negotiate a possible reduction.
