AUTHORIZATION TO APPLY FOR
TRANSPORTATION FACILITIES ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE AND DEVELOPMENT
(TEA) GRANT FOR ENTERPRISE EXTENSION
WHEREAS, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation has grant
funds available for transportation improvements related to
economic development; and
WHEREAS, The City is interested in extending Enterprise Drive
to foster economic development of City owned land and to retain
an economic development prospect on land lying to the west of
the City's Industrial Park; and
WHEREAS, the footage involved with Enterprise Drive extended
will be prorated based upon actual footage of the City and the
property owners; and
WHEREAS, the City's funding will become the responsibility of
the Industrial Account; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Joseph Santi and CATS Nationwide will provide
their footage and the 50% matching funds that are required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council Of the
City of Muskego, upon recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby authorize the City to apply for a Transportation
Facilities Economic Assistance and Development (TEA) Grant for
an extension of Enterprise Drive.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk and Mayor are hereby
authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name of the
City.
