RESOLUTION AS TO CITY'S CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, in Resolution #151-89, the City entered into a 3-year
Cooperation Agreement with Waukesha County to be eligible for
Community Development Block Grant funds; and
WHEREAS, this Cooperation Agreement expires December, 1992 and
must be given to Waukesha County and the US Department of
notification of non-participation of the next 3-year commitment
Housing and Urban Development by September 4, 1992; and
WHEREAS, non-renewal of the Cooperation Agreement allows
participation in the Wisconsin Development Fund (WDF) to provide
funding for industrial economic development; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends non-renewal of the
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby direct the City Clerk to notify Waukesha
County and US Department of Housing and Urban Development by
September 4, 1992 that the City of Muskego does not wish to
participate in another 3-year Cooperation Agreement with
Waukesha County for Community Development Block Grant funds.
