RECOGNIZING CITY OF MUSKEG0 OLYMPIC ATHLETE
Laurie Fellner
WHEREAS, Laurie Fellner, resident of the City of Muskego, has been
selected as a member of the US Women's Olympic Handball Team; and
WHEREAS, Laurie will participate in the Olympic handball competition
in Barcelona, Spain, beginning July 30; and
WHEREAS, this achievement came about as a result of enormous
athletic talent and intense training; and
WHEREAS, Laurie was a member of the team that captured a silver
medal in the 1989 Pan American games, a gold medal in the 1991
games, and the USA Cup team that won the silver; was named most
valuable player at the 1990 Cheb Tournament in Czechoslovakia; and
has competed in the Olympic Festival from 1989 through 1991; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Muskego wishes to
recognize the achievement of Laurie Fellner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby commend Laurie Fellner for representing the
United States and Muskego, Wisconsin in the Summer Olympic Games in
Barcelona, Spain.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council also wishes the best
of luck to the US Women's Olympic Team during the tournament.
