APPOINTMENT OF AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT OF 1990 (ADA)
COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR
WHEREAS, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was enacted
on July 26, 1990 to prohibit all state and local governments and
disability; and
some private businesses from discriminating on the basis of
WHEREAS, the Title I1 regulations issued by the US Department of
Justice require that all public entities with fifty or more
employees must designate at least one employee as the ADA
compliance coordinator to oversee the planning, training, and
implementation of compliance activities; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed the list of
necessary preparations for compliance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby designate Jean Marenda as the ADA
Compliance Coordinator.
