RESOLUTION #122-92
RESOLUTION ENDORSING
FOR EXTENSION OF MOORLAND ROAD
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN STUDY COMMITTEE'S RECOMMENDATION
WHEREAS, Moorland Road Extension has been proposed on the
Waukesha County map; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Muskego adopted
Resolution #25-86 (As Amended), Approval of Location of Moorland
Road Proposed Extension, on February 11, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the route was agreed to by Waukesha County, the City of
New Berlin, SouthEastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission,
and the City of Muskego; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council has previously requested Waukesha
County to construct the Moorland Road Extension project on
to Moorland Road Extension; and
schedule by their adoption of Resolution #181-88, Resolution as
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego's Comprehensive Plan Study
Committee has determined the extension of Moorland Road to be a
priority road project; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has agreed with the Comprehensive
Plan Study Committee's recommendation; and
WHEREAS, it has been part of Waukesha County's five (5) year
Capital Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby support the concept of Moorland Road
extended only in conjunction with the expansion of County Trunk
L and its retention in the Waukesha County's 1993-97 Capital
Plan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Muskego supports the
immediate mapping of Moorland Road extended.
