CCR1992100RECOGNITION OF ASSESSOR PAUL M. DE ANGELIS, SR.
WHEREAS, Paul M. DeAngelis, Sr., was elected as Assessor for the City
of Muskego in 1970 and re-elected every two years until he chose not
to run for another term in 1992; and
WHEREAS, Paul previously was elected to serve as Alderman at Large for
the two year term of 1964-66, and has also served as President of the
Parks and Recreation Board; and
WHEREAS, Paul has been extremely active in the community through his
membership and leadership in the Muskego Lion's Club, VFW, Boy Scout
Troop 19, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, Paul served as Chairman of the VFW Country Fair Days and as
Marshall of the parade in 1986; and
Parade Chairman for many years, receiving the honor of being Grand
WHEREAS, Paul's dedication to the field of fair and equitable
assessing practices is proven through his accreditation as a Certified
State of Wisconsin Assessor I1 and a Certified Review Appraiser (CRA)
and participation in the Wisconsin Association of Assessing Officers
(WAAO), Southeastern Wisconsin Assessors Association (SEWAA),
International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO), North Central
Regional Association of Assessing Officers (NCRAAO), and Assessors'
Section of League of Wisconsin Municipalities including serving as
President of the WAAO in 1988/89 and SEWAA in 1974/75.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby express its appreciation to Paul M. DeAngelis,
Sr., for his total of 24 years of service to the City of Muskego as
Alderman and Assessor, and extends its best wishes to him for a long,
hezlthy and successful future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution, with the seal
of the City of Muskego affixed, shall be presented to Paul M.
DeAngelis, Sr., and this Resolution shall become a part of the
proceedings of the Common Council of the City of Muskego.
