RESOLUTION #91-92
DELEGATE THE JURISDICTION OF LUTHER PARKER CEMETERY
WHEREAS, ownership of the Luther Parker Cemetery, located in the
NE 1/4 of Section 25, was transferred to the City of Muskego in
1953; and
WHEREAS, the Muskego Jaycees have volunteered to care for and
maintain the Cemetery; and
WHEREAS, suggestions of who should be authorized to oversee the
maintenance program of Luther Parker Cemetery include (1) the
Muskego Historical Society under the jurisdiction of the Parks h
Recreation Board; and (2) the Public Works Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby delegate the Parks & Recreation
Board to be responsible for overseeing the maintenance program
of Luther Parker Cemetery.
