RESOLUTION #89-92
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MINIMUM WAGE SCALE
WHEREAS, Section 66.293, Wisconsin Statutes, requires the City
of Muskego to establish a wage scale which shall be paid by any
contractor making a contract with the City for any highway,
street or bridge construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Works
pursuant to Section 66.293, Wisconsin Statutes, the greater of
Committee, does hereby establish a wage scale to be paid
the Federal minimum wage or the State of Wisconsin minimum wage,
as that wage shall be established by the Congress or by the
State of Wisconsin, from time to time.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any notice to contractors soliciting
bids for any contract involving any highway, street or bridge
construction shall include a notice indicating that the wage
scale has been established by the Common Council, and that the
contract between the City of Muskego and the contractor shall
specify the minimum wage scale as set forth in this resolution. 0
