RESOLUTION #74-92
AUTHORIZATION TO APPLY FOR PSC REVIEW OF WATER RATES
WHEREAS, the present water rates do not provide sufficient funds
to pay operation and maintenance expenses; and
WHEREAS, the present water rates do not provide sufficient funds
to pay the water utility's debt requirements; and
WHEREAS, water rates assigned by PSC were based upon estimates
and projections developed in 1987 and 1988; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the preparation of an
"Application to Increase Rates" and such application has been
prepared.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council Of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Utilities
Committee, does hereby request that the PSC review its water
rates for the City of Muskego Water Utility.
