DIRECT CITY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE
OFFER TO PURCHASE PARK LAND
Kurth Park
WHEREAS, a Comprehensive Plan for Parks and Open Space was
adopted in Resolution #306-91; and
WHEREAS, the Plan indicates that Kurth Park is to be expanded;
and
WHEREAS, an appraisal report has been obtained on land adjacent
to Kurth Park; and
WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Board has reviewed the appraisal
and recommends the purchase of 6.1 acres as negotiated with the
seller at a price of $39,450; and
1 WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed the recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Parks &
Recreation Board and the Finance Committee, does hereby direct
the City Attorney to prepare an offer to purchase the said 6.1
acres for a price of $39,450, with funds to be obtained from the
Park Dedication fund.
