FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM
AUTHORIZE THE CITY TO REQUEST FUNDS
THROUGH WAUKESHA COUNTY
WHEREAS, Waukesha County has obtained a grant of Community
Urban Development as provided for by the Housing and Community
Development Block Grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and
Development Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has held two required Public
Hearings on January 14, 1992 to hear public comment on the use
of Community Development Block Grant funds; and
WHEREAS, at the first Public Hearing, information was presented
on the amount of CDBG funds available from Waukesha County, the
entities which are eligible to apply for such funds, and the
range of activities that may be undertaken with such funds, the
objectives (elimination of slum or blight, or principal benefit
requirements for projects to meet one of the two national
