RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY OF MUSKEG0
EMPLOYEE DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN
WHEREAS, the Common Council adopted Resolution #174-82 entitled
“Resolution Confirming the City of Muskego Employee Deferred
Compensation Plan” on September 14, 1982; and
WHEREAS, Article IV - Benefits, (b) Termination of Employment,
reads “If the participant terminates his employment with the
Employer, benefits may be taken in a lump sum or deferred until
the normal retirement date.”; and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the representative from
Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States to amend
said paragraph to replace the words “the normal retirement date“
with “age 70 1/2”; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby amend Article IV(b) of the City of
Muskego Employee Deferred Compensation Plan with the Equitable
Life Assurance Society of the United States to replace “the
normal retirement date“ with “age 70 1/2.“
