AWARDING OF BID
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for reroofing the Parks
Headquarters Building Project and the following bids were received:

WHEREAS, the City Engineers, the Park & Recreation Board, and the
Finance Committee have recommended approval of the low bid from
Dehling & Voigt, Inc., of Newburg, Wisconsin, with a base bid of
office and heated garage and 1.75" thick insulation over rest of the
$29,850, with option of 3" thick phenolic roof insulation over the
garage; future negotiation regarding replacement of portions or
entire deck; engineering contingency of $2,500, for a total project
cost not to exceed $45,750.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the City Engineers, the Park
& Recreation Board, and the Finance Committee does hereby accept the
base bid of $29,850, with option of 3" thick phenolic roof
low bid from Dehling & Voigt, Inc., of Newburg, Wisconsin, with a
insulation over the office and heated garage and 1.75" thick
replacement of portions or entire deck; engineering contingency of
insulation over rest of the garage; future negotiation regarding

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor, in consultation with the
Parks Director, may authorize the expenditure of additional funds
$6.00 per square foot if it is determined that the costs will exceed
for the repair of the gypsum board deck at the contractor's bid of
the $10,000 included in the estimated cost of $45,750.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this project shall be paid for from
funds from the Borrowed Money Account.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby
authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name of the City,
and are further authorized to sign any change orders at their
discretion upon recommendation of the City Engineers.
