COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #253-91
AUTHORIZE EXPENDITURE OF RECYCLING FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Public Welfare Committee recommends purchasing
recycling containers for distribution to residents for ease in
transporting their recyclables to the recycling drop-off site at
the Stone Ridge Recycling & Disposal Facility, and
WHEREAS, containers can be purchased at a cost of $3.98 each for
distribution to 3,000 residents plus 254' payment per container
to organizations distributing the containers, and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient expedited state grant funds
available to purchase the recycling containers in 1991.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Welfare
Committee, does hereby authorize the expenditure of recycling
grant funds in an amount not to exceed $12,690 for the purchase
of recycling containers and distribution to residents.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these costs shall be paid from the
Recycling Operating Supplies Account #100.0000.0363.
